Edge was founded on strong principles of authentic engagement: meaning opinions and information shared are for the sole benefit of the customer.
Over the past century the term ‘Consulting’ in a business and technology sense has become diluted and polluted to the point where it is derided by many. We are on a mission to return the reputation, credibility and esteem to the term ‘Consultant’ so it will be considered by our clients as authentic expertise. Our business charter defines our principals of standing ONLY for the customer, without external bias or influence. Edge has grown through referral and purposefully does not have a sales team/process/function. No employee of Edge has financial incentives tied to how much money a customer spends. Edge is not ‘partnered’ or ‘affiliated’ with any other group that could create bias through financial influences like referral fees. Edge takes a hands-on approach to each project: If we build a business plan for a transport company, it won’t be until we have driven a truck with them, if we are helping a start-up build a web affiliate channel, it won’t be until we have used their services extensively. Edge is not partnered or affiliated with any other group that could create bias through financial influence. The only focus we have is on the customers goal and on our ability to achieve it. Edge has grown in the traditional and true way consulting services should grow – by our reputation and by referral.
We are founded by technology industry veteran Andrew Higginbotham and have consultants located in the US and Europe. Our Head Quarters are in Dallas, TX USA. (We do not disclose our customers and do not solicit other customers by asking for testimonials. Edge Consulting’s customers have heard about, or are referred to, us by existing or prior clients).
Edge offers Advisory services in retainer-based agreements, Growth consulting, focussed on digital channel and affiliate marketing and a Developer practice which helps businesses engage with developers and grow developer communities.
